And with that, Karupin readies himself and jumps towards Nanjirou, landing on top of the magazine, digging his claws into the smooth papers.
"Mrooow!"

Stealing and whoring kept his head above water, but just barely. But for now, he needed a breather. He drove his wheelchair past the strange, alien shapes and structures in the grey section, lost in his own thoughts.

RP Log - Eiji & Ryoma (br_tenipuri)
Aug. 10th, 2005 | 04:24 pm
mood:
apathetic
Each step fell with a heavy thud as Ryoma forced himself to treck along the path leading away from the convenience store. He had chosen to leave everything behind and bring just his tennis bag, packed with essentials. A first aid kit, the snacks he had "stolen" from the convenience store and a few changes of clothes. The weapon he had been issued was gripped loosely in his left hand as he walked, his mind full of worries and torments. What did we do to deserve this... He could feel a tremble through his body, a fear that hadn't left him since the day had begun all those hours ago.
It felt as if this day would never end.
Kevin...what have I done to you... Once again his mind turned towards the boy that he had asked to join him on this trip. The teachers he had coerced into bringing along an extra. Why? His fists clenched and the grip around the small axe tightened. Ryoma's footsteps fell faster as a flurry of emotions overtook the small body. It wasn't long before he noticed a small park and a lone figure sitting on the swings. Before he could stop himself, instinct forced him to call out to a familiar face. "Kikumaru-sempai!"
Eiji blinked, recognizing the voice, but unable to place it for a couple of seconds, much due to the confusion and fear that muddled his mind, but as his keen eyes fell upon the small figure, he jumped off the swing and ran towards him, shouting: "Ochibi! Are you all right?!"
A weak smile was all he could manage. Eiji...was much like he always was. Confused but still carefree. Still able to trust everyone. Raising his right hand, the boy gave a quiet wave to the other and nodded for a moment. He felt happy that he was able to meet someone...trustworthy but afraid at the same time. Ryoma didn't want to do this to Eiji. Being around people that felt for...spent time with and cared about. Was this really the way? He bit his lower lip and almost turned away from his superior.
Eiji slowed his steps as he noticed the strange look on Ryoma's face. The boy smiled, something he rarely ever did. Smirk, yes. But smile? Not often. And a smile like this, so frail looking, so sad in a way... Things shouldn't have to be like this. Echizen Ryoma shouldn't have that look on his face. Eiji stopped entirely when he saw Ryoma bite his lip. "Ochibi... You're not afraid of me, are you?"

Maybe he should take the shower up at the dormitory instead. No people to chat with there, therefore it was boring, but at least it was safe. Safe for him, safe for them. He turned around to leave.

RP Log - Eiji & Tezuka
Apr. 27th, 2005 | 11:37 am
mood:
amused
Gakuto... They had kissed. Once. Twice. And they would go out on a date this Friday. That was a good thing, wasn't it? Maybe. And maybe not. Images flashed before his inner eye and he lost his focus for a split second. The ball missed the racket and flew past him, towards the fence.
The ball didn't make it all the way to the fence. Unbeknownst to Eiji, he had had an audience for the past several minutes. One hand came up, neatly catching the ball before it could hit the onlooker. Said onlooker's identity was unknown...until he spoke, the familiar tones of command flowing out. "Careless, Kikumaru." Tezuka moved forward, tennis ball in hand, steel-grey eyes narrowed slightly in curiosity. "Your mind is anywhere but on your tennis. That was a careless mistake." He flipped the ball at the redhead, expression ever unchanging.
Eiji reached out with his racket on pure instinct, caught the ball and slammed it down into the ground, stopping it. He blinked a few times, then a wide smile spread across his face. "Tezuka! Long time no see!" He dropped his racket and ran over to his stotic friend. "Where have you been?! Mou! I've wanted to see you for like for ever and ever and ever, but I couldn't find you! Oh... You okay by the way?"
It was fortunate that Tezuka had listened to Kikumaru's particular brand of chatter for three straight years, else he never would have caught any sense out of that. As it was, he found it fairly easy to follow along. "I have been rather busy of late, between two illnesses. And I will survive." He wasn't okay, not by any stretch of the imagination, but he was also disinclined to blast that fact to the world at large.
"I heard. Or read. Or sort of... Ah, forget it. It's good that you're better though. I mean, it wasn't fun to read... hear... That you and Ohtori-kun had those problems anyway. He's better right? He'd better be, you seemed so worried..." Eiji paused and pulled up the towell he had tucked on the side of his pants, wiping his face. He knew he was blabbering like a fool, but Tezuka's character often did that to him.
That particular series of babble earned a rather rare concession from Tezuka; namely, a blink of surprise. "Ah...yes. He is doing much better; I believe he will be released to return to school here shortly." Apparently he had been rather obvious in his worry. This was Eiji, though; someone he had known for years. "Thank you for your concern. I will pass it on when next I see him." He said it blandly, as if he expected to pass Ohtori in the hall and that was about it.
Eiji removed the towel from his face just in time to catch Tezuka's blink of surprise, and a soft smile replaced the wide grin on his face. As Tezuka continued, Eiji couldn't help but mentally sweatdrop - Tezuka hadn't changed at all. It was really nice. He realized he had missed that stone gaze the young tennis genius had. "Good. I mean, I don't really know Ohtori-kun that well, but..." He shrugged, draping the towel around his shoulders. "So... Did you come to practice?"
Some things never changed; Tezuka's expression was one of them. "An excellent person," he pronounced, as if he was talking about someone rather distant and not the person he spent very nearly every free moment with. "I have been practicing," he observed, somewhat dryly. "You have been entirely mentally elsewhere, or you would have noticed."
Eiji blinked at that. Tezuka had been pracicing? He had completely missed that. He really had been somewhere else then. "Really? Oh wow..." He couldn't help but feel slightly stupid at that. He reached up with his hand and scratched his head, looking at Tezuka with his face flushed. "Sorry. I kind of have some things on my mind..." As if Tezuka didn't realize that. He felt more stupid by the minute.

Comment Log - Atsushi & Fuji
Apr. 20th, 2005 | 05:00 pm
mood:
thoughtful
At first, he had been searching all over Tokyo, trying to get a glimpse of the fair-haired young man, but to no avail. Some people thought his behavior was a bit off and a little creapy, and they told him so, something that caused him to calm down. He would find Fuji eventually, he didn't have to stalk the poor man. The most simple solution to his problem hadn't hit him, maybe because it was to simple, but when it finally struck him, he realized he had wasted a whole month for nothing. The most simple solution was of course to visit Fuji in his home. So here he was, in his car on the parking lot outside said home. He had been waiting half an hour now for Fuji to show and it was getting pretty late. He started to re-think his idea, maybe it wasn't the best thing to do... Maybe he should go home.

Comment Log - Niou & Kirihara
Apr. 15th, 2005 | 11:26 am
mood:

His mind was a complete mess, he had hardly seen Niou after the incident almost a month back, where he had understood how Niou felt about him. He hadn't taken care of that matter rather nicely, if fact, Akaya felt like he couldn't have acted more like a bastard than he did. Niou had been hurt, he was sure about it, even if the silver haired boy seemed all right if you would judge from his journal entries. But they could lie. Or not tell the whole truth. Niou had pulled a few pranks around April Fool's and all, but Akaya still doubted he felt better.
In Akaya's mind, he knew that he was to blame, if he had only acted more understanding or something, things wouldn't have been so strained between him and Niou, and Niou wouldn't be as sad. He was always to blame, whatever he did. He had hurt Echizen during their game. It had really felt good then, since he needed to let his frustrations out on something, or someone, but afterwards it really didn't feel good. And earlier... The way he had acted towards poor Fuji Yuuta... And before they came to Gakuen he had been a total bastard concerning Fuji Syusuke, Tachibana Kippei and Kamio Akira, hadn't he? People always got hurt around him, one way or the other. It really was about time he tried to do something about that.
Akaya placed the glass shard beside him while he folded the sleeve of his shirt on his left arm up, so that his bare arm became visible. He felt with his right hand on it, felt it's warmth - his fingers had slowly grown cold in the damp basement - felt the blood that flowed through the limb. The blood was cured, Akaya figured, since it was his blood, and he was cursed. It wouldn't surprise him if the blood was green or black by now, after all he had done. He decided that it was time to find out.
The young boy picked up the shard and placed it against his skin, slightly below his elbow. He closed his eyes, fingers clutched thightly around the shard, and then he cut. It really didn't hurt at first, only stung a little. First there weren't any blood. Slowly, tiny red droplets appeard, they became more and more, and soon enough the wound was bright red and the thick liquid started to run down his arm. Akaya stared at it a couple of seconds, then threw the glass shard across the room before clutching his arm with his right hand. He slumped down against the wall and laughed quietly. "What do you know... It really was red..."

[X_x;; Don't ask me... Kirihara wanted to behave like that. -_-;; Oh, you'll have to find out a reason for Niou to be down there, maybe he wants to be alone too? ^^;;]

Atsushi got up and put his computer on stand by before gathering his things - his jacket, a cup of coffee and the sad remains of a rice ball. He finished the rice ball, wiped his mouth, took an extra look in the mirror to make sure he looked his best, greeted a few co-workers and then he found himself in front of Tezuka's office. He politely knocked on the door, calling out: "Sir! Kisarazu Atsushi here, sir! You wanted to see me?"

Arrival [pot_gakuen: Kikumaru Eiji] - To Akutagawa Jirou

mood:

music: RahXephon - Hemisphere
The building was huge. It was a dark red stone building from the late 19th century, built just a few years after the revolution. Kikumaru Eiji stared in awe, hardly aware that he dropped his schoolbag on the ground, stirring up some dust as he went. This was it. This was the place he would live in from now on. For how long? He didn't really know. Sighing, the slender redhead bent down and picked up his bag, looking over his shoulder only to see his father drive away from campus. The last connection to home just vanished from sight. Eiji pouted, shrugged and then entered the building. He still had a few hours free before they would meet up in the assembly hall for the welcoming ceremony.
Inside, the building was just as breathtaking. High roof, bright colors that were nice on the eyes, and people. People everywhere. That wasn't strange, but the fact that Eiji couldn't spot one single female among the crowd was. He knew it was an all-boys-school, but still. It creeped him out. In fact, he felt his head take a slight spin for the worse, and he looked desperately for a place to sit down. He noticed a soft bench on one side, all spiffed up with pillows and a nice, comfortable blanket. Eiji grinned and made his way towards it.
